Kindergarten at our House | Elemental BloggingWe homeschool our two kids, a daughter who is 13 and a son who is 5. Well really at this point, most of the focus is on our daughters education – our son is just the tag-along sponge!

I have been homeschooling for over nine years now, so according to “them” I am a homeschooling veteran.  This basically means, I’ve blown it a few more times than a newbie has and that I have hopefully learned a few things along the way.

My area of expertise in the homeschooling world is in science and classical education, both of which I simply adore! I found the Well-trained Mind just before our daughter’s first grade year and haven’t looked back. Now, that doesn’t mean that we always follow every jot and tittle, but it is certainly the compass for our homeschool journey.
